All are welcome at Good Harbor Beach!

Earlier this week the Mobi Mat was installed at Good Harbor Beach to increase accessibility to our beautiful beaches for residents and visitors.

Thank you to our City of Gloucester Public Works for helping make this happen!

We also have wheelchairs available at Good Harbor and Wingaersheek! Ask a parking lot attendant or lifeguard for more information.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, Lisa and Marnie worked at a publishing company. After 20+ years of working together, both got laid off, and both decided to start their own businesses.

Today, Lisa is a professional organizer and runs The Nest at Pigeon Cove, and Marnie is the owner of Curly Girl Candy Shop in Salem.

I'm not sure which of us is happier, but I do know that we both love candy... and one of us is surrounded by it all day! Visit Marnie at 140 Washington Street in Salem and tell her Lisa sent you!

The Nest has undergone quite a transformation in the past year! We bought it in January 2022 then:

* Spray foamed the attic and basement
* Converted from oil to electric heat pump (ripping out all of the baseboard heaters)
* Put in all new flooring
* Put a sump pump and v***r barrier in the basement
* Upgraded the electrical and replaced light fixtures
* Replaced bathroom vanities
* Gutted and renovated the kitchen and laundry room
* Converted an old-school built-in TV unit to a beautiful bookcase
* Replastered walls
* Hung wallpaper
* Painted the entire interior
* ...and probably lots of other work I've blocked out!

We opened to guests Labor Day weekend, and then we slept for about two months. 😅
