Oh snap! Snapper season starts soon!!

‼️ Attention Gulf Coast Anglers: Federal red snapper season will oFISHally open June 1! 🎣

Red snapper fishing is open year-round in Texas state waters. Bag and size limits for federal and state waters will remain unchanged.

Don't forget - anglers fishing in federal waters MUST have a rigged and ready descending device or venting tool on board to use on reef fish exhibiting signs of barotrauma.

Texas anglers are also encouraged to utilize the Texas Hunt & Fish App to log red snapper landings. Anglers can use the app to log harvested game species, view harvest history, save photos and share harvests on social media.

It's November!! Reds are running and cooler temps are coming! We (surprisingly) are not booked for Veteran's Day Weekend. We would like to offer a deal to all who have served, and families of those who have served.

I needed some salty air and wet lines in a bad way. Decided last minute to drive down to Redfish Retreat. I'm never disappointed. The bite was on. I had luck with artificial sparkly shrimp, fresh dead shrimp and glow in the dark shad. This weekend is the hummer bird festival in Rockport. They.were.everywhere! Thinking they will be here for at least another week. We will be putting up some feeders as well!
