Crack O' Dawn Coffee Club If you need exercise and fresh air, or you are into nature, birding, photography or just want to socialize, come and join our coffee club.

You really don't join...just show up and meet the most friendly and most welcoming people in Michigan! We meet on the first Saturday of each month at the crack of dawn....7am. No need to join, just show up at the Marshland Museum and Nature Center at Lake Erie Metropark. Bring a breakfast treat to pass, coffee is provided and a $3 donation is appreciated. We chit chat and drink coffee for about 30

+ minutes and then go on a leisurely one mile walk in the park. We are led by a park interpreter (it's questioned whether he leads us or we lead him), who provides us with information and answers our questions.

I haven’t updated this page for a few years so I thought I would say a few words to continue to promote this great group.
Due to health issues ( old age ) I haven’t been attending this monthly group but it continues to meet, eat donuts( lol ) and go for wonderful nature walks. It is a great opportunity to get some exercise, commune with nature and meet some great people.
Crack O’ Dawn meets at Lake Erie Nature Center on the first Saturday of the month and you guessed it….. at the crack of dawn , 7:00 am.

Well, it's been a long winter and I am hoping that this Saturday, a lot of our group will be coming out of hibernation. Looking for a big group but we may have to swim rather than walk. Just a friendly reminder.... COD does not meet this Saturday due to a Christmas program at the nature center. We will meet on Saturday, December 8 and will start our winter hours of 8 am.
