What started as a love of reading at just 8 years old eventually became a dream come true for one Nashville business owner.

For years, the idea of opening a bookstore lingered in the back of Tawana Atterberry's mind. When the opportunity to secure a space on South Barnes Street first came along, the timing wasn't right. But when that same opportunity returned years later, she took the leap and Capricious Literary Lounge was born.

Today, this cozy literary haven is much more than a bookstore. It's a place where people gather, connect, and take a break from the demands of everyday life. Guests can browse shelves of books, sip herbal tea, enjoy creative events, or simply settle into a comfortable chair and relax.
