Based on this past week, it's safe to say that winter is definitely here in Rome! While nothing beats curling up under blankets, you can get a little stir-crazy from time to time. Lucky for you, here are some of the area's skiing and snowshoeing trails that are open, groomed, and ready for you!
(Please note that although these trails are open to the public, it's best to consult the businesses themselves to get accurate day-to-day information.)
Skiing
❄Classic Nordic Trail @ Lake Arrowhead (2.5 and 5.0 mile loops)
❄ "Short Loop" @ Sand Valley (~1 mile)
❄ "Big Loop" @ Sand Valley (~2.5 miles)
Snowshoeing
❄ Ridge/Mammoth Trail @ Sand Valley (2.5 miles)
❄ Songbird Trail @ Sand Valley (1.2 miles)
❄ Karner Connection Trail @ Sand Valley (1.5 miles, and accessed by parts of Songbird and Ridge Trails)
