October special sections highlight community groups

Jobe Publishing’s newspapers will feature special sections and local marketing opportunities throughout October, recognizing community organizations, students and public service groups.

Topics include 4-H, fall sports, breast cancer awareness, Halloween events and safety, school bands and first responders, including fire, EMS and 911 dispatch. Veterans Day advertising and photos are due Oct. 22. Political advertising and parenting specials will be available throughout the month.

County-specific opportunities include Metcalfe County’s Pumpkin Festival and Muhlenberg County’s International Festival, Dukes of Country and coloring contest.

Participating groups are offered free news space and assistance with writing and sharing their accomplishments. Businesses and community sponsors can purchase advertising to show their support.

“We appreciate our local sponsors and want to do all we can to make those sections something we can all be proud of,” community newspaper publisher Jeff Jobe said.

For sponsorship information, send a private message to this newspaper.
