As a travel advisor, connections are important. The connections we make help us grow, provides knowledge, foster our mentality, and can even establish life-long friendships.
Over the years, I have spent a lot of time making connections that have influenced my growth. This, not only helps me be a better travel advisor but also allows me to support my clients in ways others can’t.
Being a travel advisor isn’t a hobby or something I do for fun. Although it may look glamorous, it’s hard work that requires time and dedication.
It’s vital I stay up to date on destinations, travel protocols, issues, and so much more to provide the best experience I can.
Attending conferences like the ASTA River Cruise Expo, creates an opportunity to gain more knowledge about the cruise lines, as well as establish and grow the connections I’ve made. I’m grateful for these opportunities and for all of my wonderful clients.
