Our Nesting box aka as the ‘Bird hotel’ , three stories, 5 star.
Martins and sparrows nest and raise their young live side by side.

For me one of the delights of Rotonda is every morning coming out by the water and just watching and listening.

Watching birds swoop over the water.
Sore into the air.
Swoop round back to the nest house.

There’s some majestic about watching this.

Seeing almost the full body length of this magnificent creature.

Something scary.
A little bit surreal too.

This is their home, this is their waterway.
We are the visitors here …..
