I want to give a huge shoutout to my village—an incredible community of powerful women who pushed me to step out of my comfort zone this week.

I spoke on stage for the first time in front of nearly 3,000 people—sharing my heart on the importance of women supporting women and building real community in an industry that can sometimes feel lonely.

I'm so proud of myself for saying yes to this moment. And I'm deeply grateful for the phenomenal women who stood beside me—lifting me up, cheering me on, and encouraging everyone in the room to be bold, feel empowered, and take up space. 💜

Important Update for Luxe White Glove Travel Clients Visiting Rome

With deep reverence, Luxe White Glove Travel acknowledges the passing of Pope Francis, a beloved spiritual leader whose influence reached hearts around the globe. Known as the “People’s Pope,” his legacy of humility, compassion, and unity will endure through the ages.

As Rome prepares for an extraordinary spiritual and historical moment, travelers should anticipate a significant impact on tourism logistics. The passing of the Pope, combined with the ongoing Jubilee Year—already expected to welcome over 30 million pilgrims—will bring an unprecedented influx of visitors to the Eternal City.

What You Need to Know:

Public Viewing & Funeral: Pope Francis’ body will be on display for public respects ahead of his funeral. Expect large gatherings near St. Peter’s Basilica and Via della Conciliazione.

Closures & Delays:
• St. Peter’s Basilica: Expected to remain open during the official nine-day mourning period, but operations may be limited.
• Sistine Chapel: Will be completely closed once the papal conclave begins.
• Vatican Museums & Nearby Sites: May experience restricted access or adjusted hours.
• Vatican City Events: Eucharistic celebrations and Jubilee programming, including the April 27 Jubilee of Teenagers, have already been suspended.

Last night, I hopped aboard a plane to rediscover me. 💜

This year marks my 50th birthday—and for the first time ever, I’ll be celebrating it thousands of miles away from my family, friends, and familiar routines.

I’ll land in Australia on the day I was born… solo, after crossing continents and time zones, with nothing but a carry-on and the courage to begin my next chapter.

This isn’t just a birthday trip. It’s a self-discovery sabbatical.

As a travel entrepreneur, I’ve spent years crafting dream experiences for others. And while I love what I do, the truth is—burnout is real.

Somewhere along the way, I lost pieces of myself to the hustle. My health. My joy. My spark. So I’ve decided to do what I encourage my clients to do every day: disconnect, reflect, and pour back into myself.

This cruise is my personal love letter—a gift of time, peace, and permission to dream again. Ten sea days to rest. Ports of call to inspire. And moments in between to breathe, to be, and to reimagine what the next 50 years of my life might look like.

I’m not just going to see the world—I’m hoping to see myself, fully, again.

If you've ever felt like you’ve been running on empty while filling everyone else’s cup, I hope my journey reminds you it’s okay to pause. You deserve restoration too.

Just Another Day in the Life of a Traveling Unicorn…

During a recent tour of the DMZ in Seoul, I had an unexpected main character moment—and not the kind I signed up for! While exploring this historically significant site with my son and a fellow traveler from Spain, we suddenly became very popular with a group of tourists.

At first, I thought it was just a coincidence… until we started getting pulled—yes, linked-arm-and-held-in-place kind of pulled—into random group photos. “Smile!” they said, while pointing to a camera we didn’t know existed two seconds earlier.

Apparently, we were the unofficial stars of their vacation albums thanks to a little thing called melanin magic.

The grand finale? I made a slick getaway just before another group could lock me in place for a photo op. Sadly, my son and our new travel buddy weren’t as lucky—I even managed to capture video evidence of the moment they were claimed like collector's items.
