When skiing at Canaan or Deep Creek, ou can stay in Rowllesburg and save a lot of money. We are 25 miles away from the best skiing in the northeast. Stay at the River House Lodge or Cannon Hill Inn and save a lot of money! Enough to buy everyone a ski pass for two days. Our rates for two or three-bedroom suites range from $139 to $149. LOCOMOTIVES AND MORE LOCOMOTIVES

Has anyone noticed that the railroad does not seem to have enough power where needed? Often, westbound trains will have 4-5 locomotives being pulled along with the empties. I just saw a loaded freight heading east with eight diesel units! Only two of those units were needed to pull a short load. The other six were being towed! Pictured below is a normal westbound coal drag.
