🐎 ROUND TWO… HERE WE GO! 🐎
Yesterday's ride may not have gone quite as planned, but we're not letting that stop us from tackling the long loop! 😉
Tomorrow, I'm heading back out with some friends to give it another shot. This time it's just experienced riders, our horses, and a whole lot of beautiful Wyoming country. 🌄🐴
No schedule. No pressure. Just a day in the saddle, good company, and hopefully A LOT more miles! 😂
Sometimes the best adventures are the ones that don't go exactly according to plan. ❤️
Here's hoping tomorrow brings us sunshine, happy horses, and one heck of a ride!

🌄 Not every adventure goes exactly as planned… and that's okay! 🐴
Today’s ride didn’t quite turn out the way we had envisioned, but that’s the reality of working with horses—and honestly, that’s part of the adventure.
We had a couple of unexpected challenges right from the start, including one rider taking an unplanned dismount before we even got on the trail! Thankfully, she was okay, got right back on, and kept going. 💪🐎
As we made our way down the trail, it became clear that one of the horses was starting to get sore, so we made the decision to cut the ride short. The horses always come first. ❤️
We ended up covering about 4 miles in roughly 2 hours, which wasn't the 7.5-hour adventure we had planned—but we still got to spend the day horseback, enjoy some beautiful country, and make a few memories along the way.
And sometimes, a successful ride isn't measured in miles.
Sometimes it's measured by getting back on, listening to your horse, making the safe decision, and coming home happy and healthy. 🥰
Thank you to everyone who came along for today's adventure! We'll take the lessons from today and look forward to the next one. 🐴💜🩵

A big part of getting ready for trail season happens before we ever hit the trail. 🐴
Today was shoeing day for the Echoing Hooves crew! Fresh feet, happy horses, and getting everyone ready for more miles of adventure. 🏔️🌲
These horses work hard for us, and keeping their feet healthy and properly cared for is a huge part of keeping them comfortable and ready to do what they love. ❤️
And with an EPIC 7.5-hour ride coming up Saturday... we're getting everything in order! 🤠🐎🔥

August was one heck of a month! 🥰
From beautiful trail rides and camping adventures to introducing new riders to the joy of horseback, we packed a lot of adventure into 31 days!
🏕️ Horse camping in the Black Hills
🐎 4+ hour trail rides
🌲 Exploring new trails and country
🤠 Riding lessons with some future little cowgirls
📸 Sharing the adventures and growing our community
