Happy Friday Ruidoso! It's been a wet week here in Ruidoso, but stories of us flooding this week have been greatly exaggerated. The Hondo Valley and LIncoln did experience some flooding last night and our thoughts and prayers go out to those affected. However, Ruidoso DID NOT flood yesterday (Thursday, Sept 24) and we have not had any major flooding this summer. We do not have any road closures due to weather in Ruidoso currently. Hwy 70 from Ruidoso to Roswell is open. Saturday's weather is sunny with a high near 74 and it will be a beautiful day for the Downshift Ruidoso Oktoberfest! Come enjoy fall in the mountains!

Summer has officially started, and it sounds great! The Cool Summer Nights concerts are free and family-friendly.
