Took the WAVE Infrared Atris 650 V2 out for a spin last night. The fellas from Wisconsin made a few great shots. Bustin Fur audio kept them stirred up, but they often sat on us at 300+ yards. No problem from the Atris!

Fall 2025 Coyote hunt is in the books. 🎸 We put up something like 18 coyotes, 10 pigs, a few hundred dove, and a bobcat. If you’ve never met Aaron, he’s one of the more avid hunters you’d ever meet. We all would bird hunt evenings, take an hour dinner break, roll into predator hunt for 10 hours. Then zombie up to the house at daylight to change clothes, grab a coffee and hit the morning/“mourning” dove stand. Caffiene is a hell of a drug. I think I may have gotten 8 hours of solid sleep total in 3 days. Host a Rockstar they said. 🤣

I always love hanging with ,, Darin and Aaron. The best fellas you can find. I can’t thank everyone enough, who showed up and showed out to contribute their time, grub and resources to the cause. Special thanks to my sexy wife for somehow holding down the fort, while juggling her Master’s degree classes, new job training, and the family. She non-stop prepped, cleaned, organized and made sure all of us were properly taken care of in between slayings. Until next time 🤟🏽🇺🇸

A few days of pig and predator killing in the books. , & came out to put some 6 MAX into some flesh. Those 62gr Barnes Varmint Grenades aren’t too fur friendly on them S. Texas dogs. We ended up with 7 pigs and 6 coyotes. Average 2” exit wound on every coyote shot. Again, sounds did the trick. Professor howls, trickster, triggered, spazz rabbit and pup combat were the favorites of the night. If you haven’t grabbed you a Sons Of Liberty GunWorks 6 MAX and about 500 rounds of ammo, get to it! While you’re at it grab a few sound packets from and an ICOtec caller. We are going to start running the 85 Speer’s pretty heavy soon and see how they compare to these 62’s.

This was our last stand we hit just before sunrise this morning. How they didn’t make us is beyond me. The elevation and lack of cover in this specific spot (during the day) is tricky. It must have been the audio sounds that drew in these pasture poodles so effortlessly. An 18” 6MAX running 62 gr. varmint grenades was my choice of annihilation. Of course contributed his creative antics through the week to keep everyone on their toes. Although our numbers weren’t what we anticipated, we managed to put down 23 coyotes, 28 pigs, 2 bobcats and a fox. Plenty of wild videos to follow…
