Was proud (and a bit surprised) to take home first place last night at the LTAC nightfighter challenge. There were some key mistakes that I made that cost me points, but I made up elsewhere but doing the fundamentals right and stacking advantages. Hard night all around but extremely fulfilling. Two months until I return for the Lightfighter challenge which will be a tough one as well.

Are you looking for a very introductory shooting session? The Pennsylvania Game Commission is hosting a learn to shoot event this Saturday in Lehigh County. Some more shots from yesterday‘s long range rifle match at Geissele Automatics proving grounds. Couldn’t recommend shooting this match enough for those interested in long range shooting. Very challenging to hit 6 inch steel at 600+ yards, humbling to say the least. Hoping to continue attending these and get better. Thanks for bringing me out Eddie Mack

Wouldn’t be a proper day of training without finishing it off with a night vision hike & shoot. Missing out on LTAC night operator course tonight so did some quick drills at the home base to prepare for the Nightfighter challenge in a few weeks.

Awesome time today at the Geissele Automatics gas gun challenge. This was the most difficult shooting match I’ve done from a technical stance. Long range, lots of wind, and small targets. Pleased to take home this shooting bag from MDT Sporting Goods ltd. which will certainly be put to hard use! More pics to come.
