♿✨ Everything You Need to Know About DAS at Walt Disney World

Disney’s Disability Access Service (DAS) is designed for guests who, due to a disability (often non-apparent like autism), cannot wait in traditional queues for extended periods. It’s a vital service that creates equitable—not expedited—access to the parks. 💫

Here’s what to know BEFORE you go:

🔹 What DAS is:
Not a front-of-the-line pass, but a system that lets you request a return time (equal to standby wait) so you can wait elsewhere and return via Lightning Lane.

🔹 Who qualifies:
Guests who cannot wait in a traditional line due to a disability. No medical documentation is required, but you'll be asked about needed accommodations during registration.

🔹 As of 2024:
✅ Pre-registration via live video chat is REQUIRED (no in-park registration anymore!)
✅ Register 2–30 days before your trip
✅ Valid park tickets & My Disney Experience account required
✅ The guest needing DAS must be present during the video call

🔹 Once approved:
🗓️ DAS is valid up to 240 days or the length of your ticket
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Covers up to 4 guests total (DAS guest + 3 others)
📲 Return times can be booked in the app after park entry

⚠️ Tip: You can only hold ONE DAS return time at a time. But they don’t expire until park close!
