Gloucester Day 2026 Celebration!

Visit Gloucester Virginia on Saturday, September 5, 2026, as Gloucester County celebrates an incredible milestone, 375 years of history!

While our 375th anniversary will be commemorated throughout the entire year, this special celebration will serve as the centerpiece of the festivities and coincides with Gloucester Day, a day recognized and celebrated around the world.

For one unforgettable day, Main Street and the Historic Courthouse Area will transform into Gloucester's biggest-ever community block party. The heart of Gloucester will come alive with multiple music stages featuring entertainment throughout the day, living history experiences that bring our past to life, artisan and craft vendors showcasing local talent, food trucks serving up favorite flavors, and activities for kids and families of all ages. Courthouse Circle will be reimagined as Gloucester's coolest gathering space—a vibrant lounge area where friends, neighbors, and visitors can relax, connect, and celebrate together.

This event is designed to showcase the very best of Gloucester. Vendor applications will open in August, with opportunities focused on Gloucester-based businesses, artisans, makers, nonprofits, and organizations that help define our community. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses and organizations that want to be part of this once-in-a-generation celebration.

Whether you're a lifelong resident, a former Gloucester native, or a first-time visitor, we invite you to join us as we celebrate 375 years of Gloucester's past, present, and future. Come experience the energy, pride, and community spirit that make Gloucester such a special place to call home.
