Day 5. Pictures of our visit to the Currituck Lighthouse and the Currituck Maritime Museum.
We even had a few people go to the top of the Lighthouse. Not a bad way to spend our last day on the Outer Banks!

Day 5. We departed the hotel and said goodbye to Nags Head, and headed to Duck, NC for some shopping and lunch, before visiting the Currituck Lighthouse in Corolla, NC.

THE BODIE ISLAND LIGHTHOUSE AT SUNSET!

The Bodie lighthouse was completed in 1872,
A fun local detail: “Bodie” is pronounced like “Body”, not “Bo-dee.” The name comes from the historic Body/Bodie family who once owned land in the area.
