Wild Wonderful West Virginia Adventure 2026

🚌 Day 2 – Part One

We started our morning with a relaxing start at the hotel before boarding the bus and driving just around the block to the historic Elkins Depot. There, we prepared to board the New Tygart Flyer for an 11:00 AM departure.

We enjoyed lunch aboard the train while traveling through the beautiful West Virginia mountains to see the spectacular High Falls of Cheat. It was a wonderful day of mountain scenery, railroad history, and adventure! 🚂🌲💦

Day 1. We traveled to Elkins West Virginia, stopped by the Tygart hotel just long enough to get checked in before heading over to the Gandy Dancer Theatre for dinner and a great show.
