don’t get me wrong. I have definitely taken a liking to licorice, but was surprised to find out it’s in everything. 🤣

Take notes 🗒️

Tonight we tried which is a hotel/food hall combo. Btw- if you didn’t already know food halls in Iceland are next level.

📍town of Hveragerði - about one hour from Reykjavík and a perfect spot to stop and stay if you’re heading to the Golden Circle or the south coast.

Ambiance: cute & casual. They had US football playing on TV!

🍔Food establishments: many types including pizza, burgers, tacos, Icelandic gelato, etc.

🔁 Close to many geothermal lagoons, horse stables, sightseeing, etc.

A great place to stop, stay & eat on your way out of the city and into the nature.

Today was a rough one… and I was outside for most of it 🫠🫠 The weather in Iceland is entirely unpredictable. You can’t tie any season to any weather format. It just is what it is and you got a smile through it!
