Let’s reminisce on another amazing basket of joy in Western Iowa. Have you ever had a Juicy Lucy Burger? You can get this cheese stuffed delight at Houdini’s Soda Fountain when you enjoy a getaway in Lake View & Black Hawk Lake, Iowa! They use local beef and serve’em nice and hot while you’re enjoying your delicious ice cream creation. Look at those fried cheese curds too!

Miller's Landing in Humboldt, Iowa got the backroads revved up for us with their unbelievable Fried Pickle Burger with pepper jack cheese and homemade ranch dressing. Loaded Western Iowa hash browns to go with it of course! I think some of you just changed your plans today….

We have beef in Western Iowa and some of our famous bulls as well. This one is located on the north side of Denison at the Crawford County Fairgrounds - Earl Marshall, King of Sires, born in 1914. Plan a trip to Denison and let's see some selfies with this famous black bull.

Then head on down the road to the south side of Audubon and grab a pic with Albert the Bull, who is celebrating his 60th birthday this year.

Approximately 90% of registered Angus cattle are descendants of Earl Marshall.

The black bull monument is Earl Marshall, known as the "King of Sires" born in 1914 and sired many show ring winners for W.A. McHenry of Denison, Iowa.

It's located at the entrance of the Crawford County Fair Grounds in Visit Denison & Crawford County, Iowa.
