Our clients recently experienced some setbacks with their cruise itinerary. Due to Hurricane Erin off the coast, their departure from New York required a schedule change, resulting in several unexpected days at sea with no port stops. Understandably, they weren’t thrilled, but Norwegian is offering compensation for the disruption.

That said, we did receive this picture, which gives us peace of mind knowing they’re still making the best of their trip.

We’re all back in the office after Wade’s Hyatt social media trip, and I just want to take a moment to say how much we appreciate you all. 💙 I know the posts came through in a flurry on TikTok and Instagram (where the contests take place 😅), but with these trips there’s always a prize to win—and between Wade’s drive and the partnership opportunities, it was worth it.

The reach was incredible—beyond our Maine community, Wade connected with new leads as far away as San Francisco 🌎✨ and generated a ton of interest for Mexico and the properties he visited. Social media truly is powerful when it comes to creating opportunities to grow.

He also had the chance to connect with other social media influencers, learn in-depth about some amazing properties, and expand his network even further—all things that help us bring more value to our clients. 🙌

And to those of you who consistently like, share, comment, or even just watch the stories—we see you, and we appreciate you more than you know. Your support is what helps us grow, and it means the world to our family and our business. ❤️

It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it means the world. Just when I start to wonder if I’m doing enough, something like this shows up from a client. I’m so grateful to work with such kind, patient, and thoughtful couple. A well-deserved vacation, made even more special by moments like these. ✈️❤️

Looking back at the weekend at Light Travels… We send out qoutes all week long and it’s like clockwork every week. Between 9pm and 2am Friday and Saturday night the dings start 💳—“just paid our deposit!” or “how much to add another room—another couple or family wants to go!” I swear during functions, nights out, or bar conversations, vacations become the hottest topic. Are people in bed chatting about plans… or slightly intoxicated and in full commit mode? Either way, not complaining at all. Anyone else in sales get late-night action on plans to purchase? Just a funny observation 😄.. POV.. From your favorite travel agency!

Beautiful beach, postcard views… but don’t let the calm fool you. This beach has a black flag, which means no swimming allowed due to strong currents. Cabo has beaches that look swimmable but aren’t—always check the flag before diving in. Safety first, tan lines second.
