Picture this: You booked your flight 6 months ago and specifically selected the ultra-private window pod. You board, settle in, and pour your welcome champagne.
Then, a couple boards late. They got separated, and one of them taps you on the shoulder to ask: "Would you mind swapping for my middle aisle seat so I can sit with my partner?"
People are completely divided on this travel etiquette: Side A: "Absolutely not. I planned ahead and paid for this specific seat. Lack of planning on your part doesn't constitute an emergency on mine." đ
ââď¸ Side B: "It's just a seat! Have some empathy, take the aisle, and let the couple enjoy their vacation together."
Where do you draw the line? Do you give up your premium window seat to be the good guy, or do you politely decline?
