Took a ride out by San Mateo the other day to see the amazing historic . It did not disappoint. The gardens were abloom with everything under the sun. I’ve never seen so many flowering trees! Also the visiting places rich with history. I love old architecture. I would die to have windows and doors like that. These are just iPhone photos. It was a day date with my husband , so I didn’t want my camera to take way from our time together. Still manage to get plenty of shot with my phone and took some video. Depend what I got I’ll post a reel too. That will have some of the house as well instead of just the grounds.

Had the honor of meeting up with an old coworker of mine (an amazing pediatric intensive care nurse) and wonderful mama of 5, soon to be 6! Thank you Rachael for choosing me to document this beaitiful chapter of motherhood. I can’t wait to meet your new babe!! Thanks to Billy too. You’d never know he was worried about being in the photos. All you can see is love and serenity in each moment.

Had such a beautiful newborn session last Sunday. It was wild and crazy, but also amazing. So remember, even when you're out with your photographer and your kids are being kids, just let it be. Relax and try to enjoy this special time with your family and trust that your photographer knows what they are doing. Trust that they will work their magic and together you will have created beautiful art that documents this piece of your story.

Welcome, my name is Cindy and my heart has always been held by the history that photos tell, the memories they keep and the journeys they can take us on. They tell our story. They tell of bonds that span a lifetime of love, struggle, heartache, joy and memories. It's all those moments when tied together that tell the story of our lives. It's the thought of letting those moments slip by without documenting them that inspires me capture the poetry of your story in a beautiful and authentic way.
I am a natural light emotive photographer (visual storyteller) located in Sacramento CA. I am a photographer for families full of wanderlust and heart. Families who might be looking for something a little different; like Mama’s looking to capture their family’s story in an authentic and raw way. Real moments, not posed. There are two things that truly feed my soul; family and the peace, beauty, and harmony of nature. My true north is family photography and giving families an amazing experience filled with tender moments, fun, & adventure in epic locations.
A special note to all you Mamas... Photographs are like love notes... They linger on long after we are gone. You are the most beautiful being in your child’s eyes. Yet, as Moms we are often a ghost in our own stories. There's always a million reasons for us not to be in the frame. We're too plump, our hair's a mess, we're too tired or we don't have our face on. But, truthfully your kids don't care about any of that. Regardless of how you think you look, to your children you are their beautiful mama and they deserve to have pictures to remember you by; pictures that show how much you love and adore them. I want give them just that.
