For over 250 years, sailing ships of many types have docked at Sag Harbor’s Long Wharf. In days of old, these ships were for cargo and whaling. Today, and for several years, the mighty Schooner Luna has sailed from Long Wharf. We continually feel honored to tie up to this storied pier and humbled to take a small part in the rich sailing history of Sag Harbor and Long Wharf. The wharf is the Schooner Luna’s home and where she belongs.

Arriving from her ocean passage later this month, Starlight will be available exclusively from Sag Harbor for limited sunset sails. I am excited to say that 2025 marks fifteen years providing wonderful and unique sailing charters from Sag Harbor and the East End. While my professional maritime experience goes back to my teens, in 2014 I left a wholly different life as a successful Manhattan lawyer to pursue ‘the dream’ full-time when my sailing business became sustainable. Lifted up by an incredible group of regular guests (who I love to see every year), along the best crew in the industry, I have grown the business to provide exceptionally fun charters with a diverse fleet of wonderful boats. We sail, swim, eat, enjoy sunsets, and even dance together everyday like it is the very best day of summer.
