Part of the Journey

🇫🇷 The Medieval Streets of Rouen, France

Rouen was one of those places I absolutely loved exploring on foot. The cobblestone streets, colorful half-timbered buildings and centuries-old architecture make you feel as though you've stepped right into medieval France.

But one of my strongest memories of Rouen was visiting the Historial Jeanne d'Arc, the museum dedicated to Joan of Arc.

Most of us know that Joan of Arc was burned at the stake in Rouen in 1431—but I learned something there that I had never really understood before.

After a complicated and politically charged trial for heresy, Joan had agreed to wear women's clothing. When she later resumed wearing men's clothing, it was used as evidence that she had "relapsed" into heresy—helping seal her fate.

Imagine...something we wouldn't give a second thought to today played a role in condemning one of history's most famous women.

That's one of the things I love most about travel. You can read history in a book, but standing in the very place where it happened makes the story feel completely different.

Schönbrunn Palace – Vienna, Austria 🇦🇹
Some places leave you with unforgettable memories long after you've returned home, and Schönbrunn Palace is one of them.
From the magnificent palace to the beautifully manicured gardens, every path seems to lead to another stunning view. It's easy to understand why this former imperial summer residence is one of Vienna's most treasured landmarks.
One thing I quickly learned... wear comfortable walking shoes! 😊 The gardens are far more extensive than most people expect, and you'll want to take your time exploring every corner.
It's one of those destinations where slowing down and simply enjoying the surroundings becomes part of the experience.

Monday Memories #2 - Charles Bridge – Prague, Czech Republic
Some places simply take your breath away... and Prague is one of them.
Walking across the historic Charles Bridge, surrounded by centuries of history, talented artists, musicians, and breathtaking views of Prague Castle, it's easy to understand why this city is often called one of Europe's most beautiful.
Every step across this iconic bridge feels like stepping back in time.
It's moments like these that remind me why I love helping others discover the world—because the memories you create while traveling last a lifetime.

It's Monday...let's travel together!

Today's journey takes us to the Chain Bridge in Budapest, Hungary.

The very first time I stood on Budapest's Chain Bridge, I remember pausing for a moment just to take it all in. On one side was historic Buda with its castle overlooking the city. On the other was the vibrant energy of Pest, alive with cafés, shops, and people enjoying the day.

What I love most about this bridge isn't just its beauty—it's what it represents. For nearly two centuries, it has connected two very different sides of one incredible city. Standing in the middle, with the Danube flowing beneath you, it's easy to understand why Budapest has captured the hearts of travelers from around the world.

Whether you're crossing on foot during the day or admiring it beautifully illuminated at night, it's one of those places that stays with you long after you've returned home.
