As most of you know, we bought our first vacation rental in Florida in 2022. We have had a year full of incredible memories with lots and lots of amazing guests! We learned a ton about managing a rental remotely and about the beautiful city of St. Augustine. There were a few challenges we could not change about our home (the fact that we would never be walking distance to the beach) and the back yard flooded in every rain (the city had no drainage system and we were a corner lot.) As much as we loved all the trips to Florida the past year, we realized this was not our dream location. So….we decided to sell the house and be more strategic in finding our next vacation rental. One thing that we would like to do is do more direct bookings with friends and family and less bookings on the platforms. We thought we would take a survey and see what your favorite places to vacation are as we are looking in different areas. If you could take a minute and reply with 1st and 2nd choices and your preference in a rental we would LOVE to have your input! For those of you that visited our home this past year—we are SO HAPPY you enjoyed yourselves at our place! It has been a joy to serve you!!! We just earned Superhost again—thank you!
