The Boho Traveller LLC Crafting rugged luxury itineraries for open minded explorers seeking faraway and bespoke experiences.

The Boho Traveller was founded in 2016 with just a girl and her laptop in a tiny apartment in Florence, Italy. Initially designed to bring Europe a little more attainably to study abroad students and budget travellers, then to backpackers, and now for luxury clients, our brand can suit all your travel needs because we have been there. Initially a blog based in travel advice, we are now a full scal

e travel agency based in St. Augustine, Florida - though we never stay in one place for too long! We have been crafting full scale custom travel itineraries since January of 2020. With a focus on “rugged luxury” we love to tailor your vision for a perfect fit. From truffle hunting in the hills of Tuscany to hunting the northern lights on a dogsled in Finnish lapland, no destination is too remote and no trip to lavish.

Venice - is it worth the visit? or is it an over-hyped tourist trap?
We’ll tell it to you straight…if you are planning on a trip to Italy without running into other travellers, you are going to be sorely dissapointed.
That being said, Venice is a great addition to your trip to Italy if you are doing it strategically. In general with Venice we recommend a 2 night stay. This allows time for exploration of the city on foot, a food tour, gondola ride, and an excursion out to the islands of Murano and Burano.

What other destinations does Venice pair well with? Milan, Lake Como, and Florence are our top picks!

Milan is a great international destination to fly into, and after a night or two in the city (we love Milan for it’s shopping) you can head out to the Lakes for some much needed time on the water and in the mountains.
Favourite hotels in Lake Como include Grand Hotel Tremezzo, Passalacqua, Villa d’Este, and Hotel Belvedere.
If you are looking for somewhere a little more secluded and not focusing on the see and be seen that comes with Lake Como, we adore Lake Garda as an alternative.

From Como continue on to Venice via private transfer, stopping in Verona on the way to explore this quaint town, seeing the arena and Juliet’s balcony.

From Venice head south to Florence, and if you have the extra time, finish off your trip with a relaxing stay in the wine estates of the Tuscan Countryside.

He wants history and exploring, she wants to relax and sip wine by the beach…which honeymoon do they go with when he says Normandy and she says Hawaii?
The answer is…both?
The first step to our planning process is filling out the inquiry form (you can find that link in our bio) and that tells us so much about your trip and what you are looking for! But so many times, we have honeymooners who know that they want to go somehwere, they know when, and they know the spend but they don’t know WHERE.
This is where we come in! After your inquiry is submitted we set up a discovery call (this can be over phone call or via Google Meet) and we walk through your inquiry!

Where do you invision yourself staying?
What views do you want?
What will you be raving about when you come home to your friends and family?
Are you open to visiting multiple stops?

Because maybe the answer to your history versus beach debacle isn’t one or the other…it’s somewhere else that can do both.

we've packed our fair share of suitcases in our time and we're sharing some of our top tips for a seamless experience...

- Pack sooner rather than later. You won’t realise what you have to purchase for the trip until the last minute.
- Make a "morning of" checklist. Our essentials include toothbrush, iPad, portable charger, makeup, and medicines.
- Packing cubes and travel-ready pouches are crucial to stay organized. Favourites are linked in our shop!
- Plan full outfits ahead of time. We love a capsule wardrobe that can be mix and matched, but also preplanned outfits to help minimise stress when you “don’t know what to wear” after a day of adventuring followed by dinner
- Keep multiples to a minimum. No one but you knows you’ve reworn that ribbed tank
- Leave room for souvenirs! Don’t overpack, or just be ready to check a second bag on the way home
- if it can spill, bag it. You don’t want to test the fates of the travel gods or a pressurised cabin
- Weigh your bags before getting to the airport. We have our favourite luggage scale linked in our shop.
- Assume your bag will go through the wringer, and this is exactly why we love a Rimowa or Away suitcase for their lifetime guarantee
- Unpack as soon as you get home. Nothing is better than coming home to a clean house, clothes immediately in the laundry, and being organised to (unfortunately) slowly and methodically sink back into real life

The Boho Traveller turns 10 years old today. 10 years on from a small school assignment that changed everything for me.

In all honesty, The Boho Traveller blog actually turns 11 this year, but my first “travel” post written was on June 10, 2016, titled “The Boho Bucketlist”.

That post has long since been archived, well, because, after 10 years of writing my craft has (thankfully) improved. But it is still so sweet to reminsce on the last ten years and see that I have done so much that I set out to do…and there is still so much to see.

What strikes me as poetic with all of the bucketlist item on that post, is that 10 years ago, I yearn for the same thing I do now.
A connection to a place.
And 10 years ago, I wanted to share that connection with a place to my readers.
It’s the same now, I am just sharing that connections directly with my clients. And there isn’t any place I would rather be (except maybe on a beach in Polynesia with my cell turned off). But, until then, you know where to find me!

Slip into Monaco the way the cool girls do: linen layers, lazy lunches, and exclusive viewpoints.

• Walk the Japanese Garden just after it opens.
•Take the public elevators and stairways that stitch the levels together—Monaco is vertical, and the best views happen between destinations.
• Wander Monaco-Ville’s side lanes behind the Palace, then linger at the Oceanographic Museum terrace for a sea-to-sky reset.
• Coastal reset: for a quieter swim, aim for Larvotto in the morning.

Want Monaco tailored to your tempo…private transfers, reservations that feel effortless, and the kind of addresses you don’t find on a quick search? We’ll design it.

Our favourites well, all the time really, but especially during festive season. Each of these properties brings something unique to the table, but they all bring one thing in common, a high standard of service and the promise of exclusivity.

while it’s tricky to think past this summer, my travel advisor brain is demanding that I let you know something very important:
You’re running out of time to plan your holiday getaway.
“But it’s only May!” you might be thinking.

December is a hot time to travel around the world.

A December getaway (whether it’s a festive escape or a total unplug) is one of the best gifts you can give yourself (or your family). From apres ski to exclusive shores, there’s no shortage of ways to do the holidays your way.
If you’re thinking about traveling over the holidays, here’s why you need to start thinking about booking right now:
✅ Availability: Boutique hotels, beachfront villas, and direct flights are often booked months in advance
✅ Rates Rise Quickly: December travel is already premium, and waiting until the last minute is not the move! Early planning = better value
✅ Holiday Logistics: From airport crowds to restaurant reservations, having an expert on your side can make or break your trip... but we can't be magicians if we don’t have enough time to work our magic!

Whether you’re dreaming of cozy, cultural, or completely off-grid, we are ready to help you start planning the adventure.

Your holiday, your way. What will it be? 🛫
