I have been participating in the debate over question 3 here on next door. There is considerable pushback on the tax relief we may get for homesteaders. I ask myself who would argue against a considerable tax cut for us ? County officials and the people who work for them (that absolutely is a minority of our population who have a very large microphone), first responders who may be afraid for their jobs or that they will get passed over for a raise (first responders jobs will not be affected by the tax cut), public school advocates (the tax cut will not cut into the school budget), non homesteaders including homes owned by corporations, vacation rentals, real estate investors, etc. All.of these individuals and entities have a beef about a change and they want to keep the status quo. We have a fight on our hands people, we must get out to vote. You can't sit this one out. These people are serious and most of them will not be swayed to vote YES no.matter how much we post. This chance for us to get tax relief will not happen again anytime soon. Maybe not again in my lifetime. This will be a life changing event for many of us. I vote in every single election, not just for a president. It is not often a vote will affect the voters with such immediate positive results. This one is for us. It will give us peace of mind and give us some relief from that scramble to come up with tax money the last 6 months before March every year. This is so important people. Get the vote out. Talk to your neighbors. This is a big deal, why do you think the other side is so vocal about it. PLEASE VOTE YES amendment 3
