Amendment three is supremely beneficial to the homesteaded homeowners that exist on Social Security only and are trying to keep their house. The numbers just don't work when they're annual property tax is 1/3 of their annual income. In addition, if they don't pay it, the county will foreclose on their house.. it may not be a perfect change for you, but it makes the county be more accountable and saves hundreds of thousands of senior homeowners from losing their home and being able to buy food.
