🔥🍽️ Jennifer has been crushing it on our Historical Food Tours!

This recent group spent the afternoon tasting their way through St. Augustine — from escargot and Mediterranean flavors to flaming saganaki 🔥, w**e pairings, and a sweet finish — all while Jennifer brought the city’s history to life between stops.

And reviews like this make us especially proud:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“Jennifer was an excellent tour guide. She was attentive and knowledgeable… The experience was definitely worth the price of the tour.”

We also loved hearing how warmly Jennifer and our groups are welcomed by our local restaurant partners. That relationship is such a special part of the experience. 💛

👻 Caught passing through one of St. Augustine’s most haunted stretches — St. Francis Street.

This part of the Ancient City is filled with stories that seem to linger long after dark. Our ghost tour travels past the historic St. Francis Inn, through the southern end of the colonial city where we share the chilling story of Peavett’s haunted tavern and boarding house, and on to some of St. Augustine’s most legendary paranormal locations.

Along the way, we visit the Historic City Gates, Huguenot Cemetery, Tolomato Cemetery, and other centuries-old sites connected to yellow fever, lost souls, and the darker chapters of America’s oldest city.

And because we travel aboard a quiet electric cart, we can slip through narrow historic streets and reach areas the larger tour vehicles simply can’t.

👻 Small groups • Immersive storytelling • Complimentary pick-up from 80+ Downtown locations

⛪ Have you visited Mission Nombre de Dios?

This peaceful waterfront sanctuary is home to the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche, the towering Great Cross, and the site of the first Catholic parish established in what is now the United States.

With beautiful gardens, walking paths, and centuries of history, it’s one of St. Augustine’s most meaningful landmarks—and surprisingly, many visitors miss it.

Whether you’re interested in history, architecture, or simply looking for a quiet place to explore, Mission Nombre de Dios is well worth the stop.

👻 On Aviles Street, even the quietest corners hold centuries of stories.

Our ghost tour passes the historic Father Miguel O’Reilly House and the nearby Cofradía Archaeological Site, where a seventeenth-century well offers a glimpse into life during St. Augustine’s Spanish colonial past. Aviles Street is recognized as the nation’s oldest platted street, while archaeological evidence shows that the O’Reilly House property was occupied as early as the 1600s.

After dark, these old courtyards, coquina walls, and hidden archaeological sites create the perfect setting for the darker stories of America’s oldest city.

Explore them aboard our quiet electric cart as we travel through narrow historic streets that larger tours cannot reach. Small groups, immersive storytelling, and complimentary pick-up from more than 80 locations throughout Historic Downtown.

🥂🍽️ This wonderful group started their Historical Food Tour with fresh tartines and bubbly before continuing through St. Augustine for locally sourced seafood, thoughtful alcohol pairings, engaging history, and a sweet baklava finish.

We were also so touched by this recent anniversary review for Jennifer:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“Jennifer was fabulous! My husband booked the food tour for our anniversary and I loved it! The food and drink samples were wonderful. Jennifer shared very interesting stories and facts about the St. Augustine spots we stopped at and as we rode. She handled the tour professionally and friendly. Such a great time, I’m already keyed up for a return to try out the ghost tour!”

Thank you for the wonderful words — we’re so happy Jennifer helped make your celebration memorable! 💛

Meet Our Tour Guide, Victor! 👋

We’re thrilled to welcome Victor to the First Coast Cart Tours family!

Raised in the mountains of East Tennessee, Victor developed a lifelong passion for history at an early age. His love of learning has taken him across 49 U.S. states, much of Canada, and numerous countries throughout Europe and the Caribbean, where he explored some of the world’s most fascinating historic destinations.

Before joining our team, Victor built a diverse career in business ownership, transportation, facilities management, and entrepreneurship. He owned and operated his own successful business for nearly a decade before spending many years in the transportation industry, traveling extensively throughout North America. He also worked for several years in St. Augustine’s tour industry, sharing the city’s incredible history with visitors from around the world.

Today, Victor combines his passion for history with engaging storytelling and genuine Southern hospitality to create tours that are both informative and entertaining. He believes the best way to experience St. Augustine is through the stories behind its streets, landmarks, and the remarkable people who shaped America’s oldest city.

Please join us in giving Victor a warm First Coast Cart Tours welcome—we’re excited for you to experience St. Augustine through his eyes!

🍽️☀️ Our recent groups enjoyed an afternoon discovering St. Augustine one bite at a time!

Instead of spending the day walking in the summer heat, they cruised comfortably between our favorite local restaurants aboard our premium electric cart. Along the way, they enjoyed thoughtfully paired adult beverages with each course, learned the stories behind the city’s rich history, and wrapped up the afternoon with a delicious slice of Florida Key Lime Pie.

That’s what our Historical Food Tour is all about—great food, fascinating history, comfortable transportation, and a relaxing pace that lets you truly enjoy your vacation.

If you’re looking for one of the most enjoyable ways to experience St. Augustine this summer, we’d love to have you join us!
