I just got off the Inaugural of the MSC World America. The ship layout was much like Royal Caribbean Oasis class. The World America is really beautiful. Food was very good as well as the service. My first time on Brightline was really wonderful. You have an option to check your bags, $30 each or carry on the train. I opted to check my large one and carry my carry on piece. It was very easy to check. Upon arrival in MIA I only waited about 10 minutes for my bag. Very easy. I felt I needed to check my large piece because I couldn’t really lift it myself.
I did reserve a seat when making my reservation.
Once on the train I ordered coffee ($4)and a blueberry muffin ($4). They had many options. You could purchase food and drink at the station and carryon if you wanted or bring your own food including bottled water. I felt it was easier for me to purchase once on the train.
The ride was very smooth. There is a plug at your seat if need to charge phone or computer.
Once we arrived at the Miami station there are many cabs. The port is about 10 minutes away. One way is about $20 plus tip one way.
I highly recommend if you are traveling south and don’t want to drive.
Trip home I did not check my luggage and a few nice people helped me. Very easy and plenty of room on the same car as me.

REAL ID compliant by May 7, 2025 to prevent any disruptions in travel plans. Travelers who use a driver's license as identification at TSA checkpoints must present a REAL ID-compliant license to board domestic flights, which are generally identifiable by a gold star in the upper-right corner.
