Rough morning with a major case of the backlash plaguing most of morning frustration was settling in until i came tight after clearing yet another one. Which led to figuring out these particular fish wanted baits soaked for a prolonged period of time. Agonizing slow fishing but had some good fish. Moral of the story slow down!

Every trip offshore is a chance to learn something new. Putting in the time, studying fish behavior, dialing in techniques, and staying persistent when conditions get tough is what makes those trophy catches so rewarding.

Today was one of those days that reminds me why I love being on the water. Hard work, patience, and a passion for fishing paid off with an absolute giant. Even better, getting to share the experience and create memories that will last a lifetime makes the catch even more special.

Took my fishing partner for a quick recon trip for an upcoming charter and had some fun with some big bass. They are definitely chewing post spawn and seem to be on edges and deep water. Fun morning before the heat took the wind out of our sails.

Nice chuck i was able to grab during the fellsmere tournament during . Right before this guy i lost two nice bass that decided they didn’t want to come up for a quick cpr. Still a fun time and learned a few things.

Took the kiddo out for his first kayak bassfishing trip. Had a blast and he was thirsty for more. After 5 hours he wanted to keep going!
