FAM Trip 2026 – RCL Recap 🚢☀

I wanted to share a photo and a few highlights from our February FAM trip! There’s truly something special about connecting face to face. Spending time together, swapping stories, and learning from each other just hits differently in person.

Here are a few of my personal takeaways:

1. Team Connection Matters

We had multiple opportunities to connect as a team throughout the cruise, and I loved watching conversations naturally turn into shared insights, opinions, and real-world experience.

What stood out most? The genuine desire to continue supporting one another after the trip. Advisors openly offered help, encouragement, and collaboration.

Our agency is built on cooperation and growing together — and this trip reinforced that in the best way.

2. Royal Caribbean’s Private Island Experience

We visited two incredible private destinations:

🌴Royal Beach Club (Nassau, Bahamas) - Located next to Nassau, this beach club offers:
Pros: Beautiful beaches, Great food, Private cabana-style spaces available, Three distinct vibes: Family, Party, or Chill

Considerations: Additional cost, Smaller footprint, Can feel busy if multiple ships are in port.

🌊 Perfect Day at CocoCay (Bahamas) - This one deserves some emphasis. Royal Caribbean owns the entire island — and it shows.

Pros: Much larger space, Only two ships allowed in port at a time, MOST of the island is included (yes, included!), Tons of stunning beaches and pools, Plenty of chairs (no early morning chair wars), Great food options

Considerations: Extra cost for the Thrill Waterpark, Extra cost for the adults-only beach club

One big takeaway: Many clients (and even some advisors) assume Perfect Day is an added expense — but the majority of it is included. That’s a powerful selling point, so keep that in your back pocket when talking with clients.

3. Let’s Keep Sharing

Here’s another look at the real-world expertise our Yeti Travel advisors bring to the table.

Brandon & Kim Housel of Right Quick Travel are true Sandals and Beaches Resorts fans with years of memories there—both family trips and getaways just the two of them. (Fun fact: they even got married at Sandals Grande St. Lucian.)

Their favorite resort to date is Sandals South Coast. They visited last April and loved it for one big reason: the resort has so much space. They shared that it’s easy to find quiet corners to relax, read, unwind, and just listen to the waves—while still having plenty of lively areas too, like swim-up bars, pool games, and spots that make it easy to meet new people.

Here’s another peek into the kind of real, firsthand Disney expertise our Yeti Travel advisors bring to the table.

On a recent Walt Disney World trip, our advisor Alison Mahurin (Alison Mae’s Magical Experiences) stayed at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and described it as the perfect mix of Disney magic and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. She loved the quiet pathways and laid-back island vibes, especially after full park days when you just need to recharge.

Alison stayed in the Trinidad section and said one of the biggest perks was how easy it was to grab quick breakfasts and casual meals at Spyglass Grill.

A few resort-wide highlights she called out:
- Skyliner access (her words: truly GOLD) for fast, easy transportation to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios
