As our our summer guests start to arrive, I wanted to finally share some of the updates we’ve been working on at Wakefield Lake Cabin. 🌲✨
Some of these projects have been on our list for a long time, and others were completed just in time for the start of the season. From a completely updated basement bathroom and a larger patio with better lake views, to new living room furniture, air hockey, bedroom blinds, and even a new coffee machine — we’ve been busy. 😅
As always, most of the work was done by Alex, who somehow never runs out of projects. 🔨
I know I didn’t show nearly enough of the process. Most of these projects were completed between bookings, with guests coming and going and summer approaching fast. 😅 We were focused on getting everything ready, but one day I’ll share more of the behind-the-scenes — it’s all sitting in my camera roll waiting for its turn. 😂📱
And we’re not done yet! ✨
We still have one big project planned for the end of the year — a major remodel of the kitchen area. Our goal is to create a much better gathering space with a beautiful dining area where families and friends can comfortably come together for meals, games, and conversations. 🤎
