There’s something special happening at the Museum of Ojibwa Culture today and tomorrow.

Free basket making is taking place from noon to 6 PM, and visitors can also help create a large community basket together. It’s a nice chance to spend some time at the museum, learn a traditional art form, and be part of something shared.

With the Rendezvous at the Straits Powwow & Indigenous Art Show coming up, this is also a meaningful way to connect with the culture, artistry, and community that make this event so important in St. Ignace.

If you’re in town, stop by and take part.
