It's a wrap! What a phenomenal season at Carswell Lake Outfitters. I'd like to commend all the successful hunters and the MacDonald family for their diligent work. Although bad weather and wildfire smoke posed challenges at camp this year, the enormous black bears and fantastic memories that clients brought home were undeniable highlights. The beauty of this place, Carswell Lake, Saskatoon Lake, and the MacDonald family's exceptional hospitality, draws hunters to return!
We look forward to welcoming you all back soon and welcoming new hunters to camp in the coming years!

Two more weeks have concluded at Carswell Lake Outfitters, yielding exceptional results. Every bear harvested met Pope & Young standards, with several notable trophies taken. Notably, a chocolate-colored bear with blonde mixed in scored 20 9/16, a bear of a lifetime. Another bear scored 20 14/16, narrowly missing the Boone & Crockett criteria. Additionally, a 20 13/16 bear was taken at 4 yards on the ground. Carswell Lake Outfitters continues to consistently produce giant trophy black bears year after year. 🫢🐻🐻🐻

Carswell Lake Outfitters has wrapped up its first week, all successful clients. The week's tally includes a 19 1/8, 19 1/4, and a stunning chocolate bear measuring 19 3/4, just shy of 20”. The week concluded with an impressive over 7’ bear boasting a pumpkin-shaped head, scoring 19 9/16. Congratulations are in order for the hunters!
