By supporting these businesses and providing them with new and exciting avenues to engage the public and private groups, we aim to be an active force in keeping our communities vibrant and diverse. Last weekend’s “Dog Sledding & Snowshoeing Overnight Adventure” was one for the memory books! From Bluebird skies, endless dog cuddles, bucket-list adventures, laughs with friends new and old, delicious meals shared, and one heck of a sunset to top it all off…this weekend was brimming with beauty and wonder. This past weekend we had the great privilege of featuring three amazing meaderies on our inaugural 'Great Minnesotan Mead Tour' which included visits to White Bear Meadery, Bumbling Fools Mead, and Winehaven Winery! Thanks to each of them for helping to make this brand new experience such a great success! And thank you to our amazing participants who joined us on this "buzz" worthy experience! You all were the bees-knees! 🥰🐝

Our Story

We are a local, family owned experiential events company based in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. The mission of GetKnit is to create a platform for local businesses to work together on signature experiences that highlight their businesses, services, and products in new and interactive ways. Our approach is to create unique and affordable events that inspire participants to tread fully on their local surroundings and challenge them to engage in something outside of their normal routine. We are the thread that knits our community together.

So why “GetKnit”? The word “knit” is defined as: (1) to link firmly or closely and (2) to grow together. We want to bring people together in that same way through out events. We want to bring people to local businesses. We want to bring local businesses together. We believe that if we can bring our community together, we can grow together.
