🦁 Packing for Your African Safari 🐘

An African Safari is a once lifetime adventure for most people. Nothing beats a sunrise over the vast savanna or the rumble of the earth beneath your feet as a lion roars. But before heading out into the bush for your game drives, let's talk smart, stress-free Safari packing to ensure you are ready for every moment.

✅️ Stick to Neutral Colors- Bold, bright colors could give you away to wildlife and dark colors attract insects like the tsetse fly. Also avoid camouflage as it is banned in most of the parks.

✅ ️Light Layers- Think fleece, lightweight long sleeves, and breathable shirts. Game drives usually happen in the early mornings and evenings when the weather is cooler and wildlife is more active, while midday is warm.

✅️ Comfortable, Closed-Toe- Shoes - You'll thank yourself during bush walks or when hopping in and out of the safari vehicle.

✅️ A Wide-Brimmed Hat/Scarf & Sunglasses- The African sun is strong. Protect yourself while enjoying the views.

✅️ A Soft Duffel Bag- Many safari flights have luggage weight limits and limited storage space and bush camp paths are not friendly for luggage with wheels.

✅️ Medications- It is very important to check with your health care provider before embarking on your Safari to protect yourself from Malaria and make sure you are stocked up on any current medications you are taking.
