Today’s Spring Break Fishing Camp conditions were less windy and a bit more sunny than yesterday. But we headed back to the same spot we fished yesterday to stay out of the breeze and the fish showed up! This team of 11 reeled in a HUGE whiting, black drum, Atlantic ray, silver perch, flounder, sheepshead, spot…and more blue crabs!

What a windy way to kick off the 2026 camp season! Winds were hustling at close to 30 mph but Captain Brooks found a spot tucked out of the breeze and these kids fished non-stop. Black drum, sheepshead, silver perch, catfish, Atlantic rays, a barnacle covered fishing rod, and a bunch of blue crabs were reeled in. We spotted a bald eagle flying by the boat, too!
