This Thanksgiving, we want to help make the holiday a little easier for 10 families in our community! 🦃

Tim’s Excavation is blessed to offer 10 families with a delicious Thanksgiving dinner, prepared by Vintage Apron Catering. Meals will be picked up ready to heat and serve on November 25th in Salem.

💙 A HUGE Thank You to The Bank of Salem! 💙

Salem Memorial District Hospital is incredibly grateful to The Bank of Salem for their generous $50,000 donation in support of our Horizon 1 Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) project!

Pictured is SN Ball, representing The Bank of Salem, presenting a $50,000 check to Brent Peirick, CEO of Salem Memorial District Hospital.

Through the Horizon 1 RHTP initiative, SMDH was awarded approximately $1.7 million to make critical infrastructure improvements to our hospital, including roofing, HVAC, nurse call systems, windows, doors, and parking lot improvements. This funding requires a local match of $188,955.50, and The Bank of Salem's generous contribution will go a long way toward meeting that commitment.

This investment is about more than building improvements — it's about preserving and strengthening access to quality healthcare right here in our rural community.

Thank you, The Bank of Salem, for investing in the future of healthcare in Salem and Dent County! Your generosity and commitment to our community are truly appreciated! 💙🏥

The Salem Police Department currently has approximately eight recovered bicycles of various sizes and models.

If your bicycle is missing, please contact us with a description so we can determine if it is among those recovered. 573-729-4242

We also encourage parents to remain aware of their children’s activities, as recent investigations have linked an increase in bicycle thefts to a group of juveniles.

REMINDER: You can register your bicycle with the Salem Police Department to help make identification and recovery easier in the future.
