The Salem Tour Company is currently in the process of hiring new tour guides for our Summer & Fall seasons in Salem!
You will be required to be licensed by the city of Salem. The cost of which will be reimbursed to you once you receive your license.
Other Requirements:
- Very good with people, customer service & managing crowds
- Highly motivated, friendly and courteous
- Safe & reliable while working outdoors
- Over 18 years old and able to work outside in often cool or cold temperatures
- Tour experience is not a pre-requisite but is a big help
- Can provide at least 3 references from previous employers
- Be able to speak in front of a large crowd
- Capable of operating 2-4 tours per day if necessary
- You will be required to complete a background, SORI and CORI check for employment
Dates:
- This is a seasonal position beginning in the summer of 2020 and going through November 5th, 2020.

Salary:
- All tour guides are paid on a tour by tour basis. This is not an hourly position. Each tour pays a standard $50-75 fee depending on the size of the tour. You are able to give up to 4 tours per day.
