A little Houdini history is waiting at the Peabody Essex Museum. 🔐 On display in the Main Atrium is a pair of handcuffs that caught Harry Houdini’s attention when he visited the museum in 1906. The display is especially fitting this year: October 31st marks 100 years since Houdini’s death, and PEM is commemorating the anniversary with a Houdini Halloween Magic Show and Curator Talk at 11 am that morning. Catch the handcuffs on display through November 2nd - and a little extra magic on Halloween.
