What if just 10 minutes a day could completely reset your nervous system? 🦶🌿

In our upcoming episode dropping this week, we’re diving into the simple yet profound practice of grounding (or earthing). Modern life keeps us insulated from the Earth, but taking off your shoes and stepping directly onto the grass or soil can lower stress, improve sleep, and help you find your calm.

The best part? It’s a completely free tool you can start using right away.

📅 Stay tuned for Episode 54: Grounding For Your Health — coming soon to iTunes, Google Podcasts, and Spotify! Turn on your notifications so you don't miss it.

I was reflecting today on a conversation about looking back and thinking, "I wish I’d figured this out 20 years ago."
But here’s the thing — just because we didn’t act differently in the past doesn't mean we’re bound by those patterns now. Often, it’s our nervous system's way of surviving — resisting change because it feels like too much, too fast.
Talking through it, I realized: what’s stopping us isn’t age or past mistakes. It’s those ingrained defenses that once kept us safe.
And honestly? Sometimes the best thing you can do is ask yourself: How do I want to live today?
Maybe it’s sitting in the sun and reading a book — no more resistance, just choice.
It’s never too late to step into what you really want.
Worth thinking about.

I used to think taking time to just be was selfish — that I needed to constantly be doing, creating, or working. Turns out, those moments of unscheduled, unproductive time are where I get my best ideas, recharge my energy, and find clarity.
It’s not about filling every minute; it’s about scheduling the space for those organic, spontaneous moments. For me, that’s wandering around my garden, sipping coffee, watching birds — just being fully present, with no agenda.
These simple acts remind me: sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do is nothing. And maybe that’s exactly what makes us better at everything else.
Worth thinking about.

How often do you wear your “busy-ness” like a badge of honor? 🎖️

We’ve been conditioned to believe that if we aren't constantly producing, achieving, or checking things off a to-do list, we’re falling behind. But tying your self-worth to constant activity is a fast track to burnout.

Real strength isn’t about how much you can endure before breaking—it’s about having the clarity to intentionally step back, pause, and reset. And doing it entirely guilt-free.

In our upcoming episode of Rise & Thrive, we’re diving deep into the power of "Unscheduled Time" and challenging the hustle mentality. Get ready to rethink the way you rest!
