Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon is a must-see attraction for visitors to Iceland. This quintessential experience allows visitors to see the lagoon and icebergs which have fallen from the nearby Breidamerkurjokull Glacier on the southeastern coast of Iceland. Icelandic horses are some of the friendliest breeds you will encounter. They are considered part of the family in Iceland and don’t typically follow a strict riding form like in some other country’s horse riding discipline.

Love visiting waterfalls? Iceland should be on your bucket list!

Located on Iceland's south coast , the Seljalandsfoss Waterfall should be on your list of places to visit. It is easy to find right off Ring Road, Iceland’s main road. There is even a path that circles the waterfall completely. This path is easily accessible in summer months.

Continue just a bit further down the path, wade up the stream and tucked away you will encounter Gljufrabui Waterfall. For such a short walk, you don't want to miss this often overlooked neighbor to Seljalandsfoss.

Pro tip: Bring your rain jacket if you don't want to get wet!
