Meet Daisy, the 100 pound sweetheart. She is the best guard dog to my mom and family. She has been modeling for test shots for her mom since she was a baby and now knows to sit perfectly still for all film shots. She accepts forms of payment for modeling in treat, belly rubs and the orange chuck-it balls (the best ones ever). --.photo

One last HURRAH for this Contax. 🙌 🎉And man, is it a good one.

"This was the last roll of film my Contax RTS III shot before it died forever. The dessert heat cooked the electronics in it right as I was on my last frame shooting this beautiful yellow flower field right outside of Sunnyland's in Palm Springs, CA. I parked my car on the side of the road and crossed four lanes of traffic to get these magical photos. I appreciate my camera for powering through and shooting until the end of the roll before giving out completely.

This was one trip I will never forget - there were so many interesting things to see (including those larger-than-life dinosaurs that were a part of the most random dilapidated roadside attraction - did you know the guy who built them way back when spent over $250,000 on the red one alone? I learned that fact from the gift shop that is actually inside one of the dinosaurs - ha!).

The colors of the landscapes were so rich, vibrant, and inspiring. Palm Springs is truly a photographer's paradise because of this. Although I was only able to shoot one roll of film because of my camera situation, that made the images I did capture even more impactful and memorable to me. I hope to be back soon!"

"I've had Oliver since he was 8 weeks old. I first held him in my hand when he was 4 weeks old - antiquated cell phone pic, attached. He's been my best friend ever since. I find it difficult to explain the bond I have with him. It's deeper than companionship. He feels like an extension of myself, of my conscience. He's the constant sounding board, so my relentless introspection has a place to find solace. He understands me and I understand him. I take him with me everywhere I go. He's been with me since the beginning of my photography journey - leaving one career to pursue something more meaningful, just going with the flow wherever it takes us. He's always there for me and I truly cannot imagine my life, having not known his love."

🌸 Love and azaleas tangled together the way only film can hold it. 🌸

"For the double exposure, I was blown away by the azalea bushes blooming at the church that Blair & Tyler got married at. I was about to walk in to start shooting the ceremony, and knew I was going to be doing bride & groom portraits afterwards. I took the flower photo on that first shot and then tried to line them up for the second exposure after they said their vows! I loved the result – my favorite double exposure to date!"

Sadie, convicted sock thief, is a serious cuddler and a complete 180 from her predecessor. Regardless, the little floof-a-loof has made her way into a pack of 4 boys and couldn't be happier.

"Sadie is a golden doodle with some serious energy. She's the complete opposite of our 170lb St. Bernard who we lost last summer. Sadie moves at full speed 24/7 while our 4 boys are home, and then passes out after their bedtime. She wants CONSTANT cuddles and has a tail that'll do some serious damage if you get hit with it. She's so great with our kids but also wants to eat all their socks. We're still working on that :)"

❄️😎 How to look cooler than a snow-capped mountain: Arrive by snowmobile, bring your crew, cue the sunshine, and casually feature a snow fox. No notes.

"This was a wedding at the Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana! All of the family and friends travelled in from across the country to Montana and it was a dream celebration! From the blue skies to the ski lift, it was a perfect wedding day all around!"

You're the judge: Who deserves gold in the art of the doze? 🐾

A little more background on the athletes:

"Jasper (brown tabby cat) is a spunky senior male who has been with me for 10 years now. He is a survivor of getting hit by a car (before I adopted him) and he definitely takes "cats have 9 lives" to the next level. He's a very sweet, cuddly boy who enjoys stealing the dog's bed/sunspot. His middle name is Thumper because he thumps his leg when you hit the right spot! Juniper (white cat with black spots) is a funny, sassy girl that I've had for about 8 years, since she was 8 weeks old. Her favorite activities include chewing on plastic, shredding paper, napping on a windowsill, laying on my keyboard while I try to edit, and knocking things off of the counter. When she's not causing chaos, she's usually cuddling with me or Jasper. She also has heterochromia iridum, which means that her eyes are two different colors! Last, but certainly not least, is Maeve. She is a sweet, cuddly 5-year-old dog who loves to sunbathe and greet her favorite people with a big ol' "woo." Her favorite thing to do is to "mow the grass" on walks which is when she just rips chunks of grass as we're walking and spits them out. She really should be charging for her services."
