Well, our earned her masters from and is ready to tackle her next musical adventure. Don’t know if it will be jumping into the working world or going abroad to give her sound just a little more refinement. We can’t wait to see where the road takes her. I’m just constantly amazed by her. Congratulations Zoe!

This past weekend brought the 25/26 ski season to a close on the Wasatch. While powder days were rare, we had lots of sunny days and it’s hard to complain about that. I had a great time skiing and shooting with so many amazing people. That was something I truly missed last season when I lost a big part of the season with a knee injury. So being back this season, I truly appreciated every day. And despite this being a record low snow year, we were still able to find good skiing until the middle of May. I left the slopes with a huge smile every day. Thanks for the turns everyone! Now the countdown begins to the 26/27 season!

I shot these at just before the start of the ski season. While big powder days were a little more rare than usual, it was still a fun winter. Sunny spring like days are hard to complain about and Deer Valley did an amazing job of picking up where Mother Nature dropped the ball. After missing a good part of last season with a torn ACL, I savored every single run, every turn and every single lift ride with friends. Now I’m counting the days until next winter!

Snuck out last week with my friends from to try out the lunchtime first tracks. My first time on a couple of Deer Valley’s newest runs. Starting this season, DV has a few runs that they keep closed until noon. You just grab your friends, hop off at the East Village Gondola angle station at noon and let er rip. Having a good crew never hurts either. Always have a blast shooting with the JANS posse!

This is Mission Control for a location project I had a little while ago. I was shooting for Purple Sky Winery in their facility so that we could use their wooden barrels to give the bottles an interesting environment. I set up my rolling studio, connected the camera to the laptop and went to work. I’ve been shooting with for several years now. I really like being able to edit as we shoot so that there is usually very minimal additional work for me to do after the shoot is wrapped. 📷🍷❤️

A few images from a late summer mountain bike shoot at with my friends from and . With upper mountain trails on hold for this summer due to snowmaking improvements, Deer Valley added some new features to the lower mountain. This makes for some great new spots to ride and shoot. But with the season ending yesterday, now I just have to contain myself until the next round of fun begins, winter!

Got out of the heat in the Salt Lake valley to shoot some mountain biking recently. A little work with my friends from at . The resort has totally upped their game with a bunch of fun, new flow trails. And they keep adding to the list with more trails this season. So that means I’m just going to have to get out again and shoot the latest and greatest.

These are from a fantastic morning at with my friend . We rolled out as soon as the lifts opened to make our mark on Deer Valleys signature grooming. And since Kaylin rips every turn, every run, I just turned her loose and said just do what you do. Sadly I’m having to miss out on this season’s spring skiing with a knee injury but it just makes me want to get back to it that much more.
