Utah is such a great place to explore. This was my ride yesterday to a little old mining town called Ophir. It’s located at the south end of the Oquirrh Mountain. This town was established in 1870 and is considered to be a ghost town by some, though people do live here and there is still some mining done here. It’s about an hour’s drive from Salt Lake City and it’s worth some exploring. Stop, get out the car and walk through Utah history. There is a part of the town that is preserved and it’s a great place to walk about.

Did a quick trip up and into the Alpine loop. It was a beautiful day full of sunshine and white puffy clouds, truly a great day for a ride.

My latest bike trip, a week of Route 66 starting in Kingman Az. On to Oatman Az. Then up through Sedona Az and Flagstaff Az. Then up through Monument Valley and Gooseneck State Park. Heading back through Moab Ut. 2000 miles of the most incredible scenery to be found! It’s the 100 year anniversary of the famous Route 66, call me for a tour.

Latest trip down to Southern Utah. This was a personal trip on the new bike, a 1985 Honda Goldwing. What a great ride! I spent a few days in Capital Reef National Park and then on to Bryce Canyon National Park for a few days.

There are more national parks in Utah than anywhere in the country. Each of these parks and many other places in Utah offer unique features and formations that are simply amazing. Places that can’t be found anywhere else in the world. There are also more designated Scenic Byways in Utah than anywhere else in the United States. All of this makes for some pretty incredible road trips. Come see and do all that Utah has to offer. Call us for more information and ideas.
