We are honored to invite you to a 6-week All Women’s Dunun Drum Class — a sacred space for rhythm, connection, and sisterhood.
Our elder and dear teacher, mama Mabiba, who is from Congo, will be guiding us through traditional West African (Malinke) rhythms. These are not just beats — they are sacred transmissions, stories, and ancestral wisdom passed down through generations.
This offering creates space for women to step into the drum with strength, reverence, and unity. There is something profoundly powerful about women gathering together — and even more powerful when we gather in rhythm. When women drum together, we remember our voices, our bodies, and our collective power.
This class is open to all levels. Whether you are brand new to drumming or returning to the rhythm, you are welcome.
