Is FIRST CLASS AIR worth the cost? We wanted to know….

So Joe and I finally tried it for ourselves! Now ours was a Domestic flight, so we didn’t have the big cocoon-like seats that recline flat for sleeping...and large TV that you often get with First Class on INTERNATIONAL flights (along with access to the airline's private lounge at the airport)… But even on our DOMESTIC flights like ours from Boston to San Antonio yesterday, we were pleasantly surprised by all the extras we got…

We were first served a warm hand towel, then a small ceramic bowl filled with warmed nuts, before a full meal service (amazing on a domestic flight!) served with real dishware and silverware, a cloth napkin, and on a tablecloth!…We also enjoyed the selection of breads!

Plus unlimited complimentary drinks or cocktails before and after takeoff (served in real glassware) and beautiful leather seats with loads more space in front and beside you!…

For the extra $200pp to upgrade our domestic flights one-way from Economy to First class, TWO checked bags per person are Included, and we were in the first group to board!… Nice not to mess with lugging a carry-on around (especially as we get older). And no middle seats! Very Nice advantages!

(We have found “Premium Economy” Air to be quite spacious and comfortable too!)
