The changing of the guard in Athens occurs hourly at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Syntagma Square. The ceremony is performed by the Evzones, an elite ceremonial unit of the Presidential Guard. The most elaborate, full ceremony with a marching band takes place every Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
