This week we had the opportunity to visit Impressions by Secrets Isla Mujeres!

The following are the Pros and Cons we observed:

Pros
- 24-hour room service
- All suite hotel
- Maid services three times a day to include turn-down service
- Complimentary laundry service
- Complimentary 20-minute wellness massage
- No check-in/check-out time
- Private catamaran transfer to hotel from Cancun (does not include ground transportation, i.e. from and to airport)
- Five pools on property (does not feel crowded)
- Friendly staff

Cons
- Limited breakfast options (only one restaurant open for breakfast)
- Lots of stairs (not ADA friendly)
- Butler could have been more attentive
- No complimentary golf cart (rent from 3rd party)
- Due to the newness of the hotel (a little over a year old), the staff is still getting acclimated
- Entertainment locations subject to change without informing guest and/or staff

Overall
Impressions is a beautiful property with amazing views. The landscape is beautifully incorporated with hotel. They have a private beach with waterslide and a private dock (catamaran arrives from Cancun). We would recommend Impressions for a special vacation especially since they cater and accommodate romantic get-aways.

Welcome to the fabulous Dreams Bahia Mita in Puerto Vallarta, Mx. The view was awesome, the people were fantastic, and the food was delicious!

Our latest adventure took us to Playa Mujeres, Mexico. We had such a great relaxing time! Here are the Pros & Cons for Secrets Playa Mujeres:

Pros
1. Access to sister property Dreams Playa Mujeres
2. Beautiful beach access
3. Preferred guests complementary Blaise beds
4. Close proximity to dolphin encounter
5. Access to Dreams Brazilian steak house
6. Property beautifully landscaped
Cons
1. Needs renovation (will be closed 2024 for renovations)
2. No room inspection for new guests (attention to details)
3. Sliding door hard to open
4. Blinds not working properly. Room tablet not working, turning
on/off regularly
5. Pool was hot
6. Mosquitos! Due to rain, there were a lot of mosquitos eating
way at us. Off was provided but didn’t work 100%

While visiting the property, we found out Secrets will be closed for 2024 doing a complete remodel of the resort to include remodeling the pools! Looking forward to visiting the resort in 2025 to see the remodel!

Memorial Day 2023 we visited Dreams Natura. Here are the pros & cons of the resort:
Pros
- Awesome Spa
- Zip line and water slides
- Lazy river
- Excellent Service for "Preferred Club" guests
- Adults only preferred club pool with food & drink service

Cons:
- Lots of kids
- Beach water is not blue (due to construction in the area)
- Secluded location (taxi to nearest town $60 one way)
- Not enough tubes for guests
- Tablet in room not user friendly
- Limited acholic beverages in mini bar in the room

Overall it was a great experience!
Note: weddings every night at the resort with wedding guests
Recommend to visit during non-peek season (less crowd/less kids)
