For the perfect date night in Boston, I’d go to Carmelinas for dinner. Then for dessert I’d walk off dinner through the North End and head to the modern Pastry shop for a canolli and limoncello. there’s likely a line but that’s just proof of how good it is. If you’re traveling to Disneyworld with kids under 10 I’d book this Disney resort every time. It’s at the right price point, the skylines access to Hollywood Studios and Epcot is so convenient, the theming is perfect for that age group and they have family suites if you’re traveling with a large group or just want extra space to spread out. They also have a great splash pad and pools.

If you’re in New Orleans, don’t skip the National WWII Museum. Even if you’re not a huge history buff, this place is one of the most immersive museums I’ve ever visited. You’ll walk through life-size exhibits, hear real stories from veterans, and gain a deeper appreciation for the sacrifices that shaped the world we live in today. The museum was founded by historian Stephen Ambrose, who also served as a historical consultant on Saving Private Ryan, and supporters like Steven Spielberg have helped preserve these stories for future generations. Plan to spend at least half a day here—it’s powerful, emotional, and absolutely worth adding to your New Orleans itinerary.

When in New Orleans, you gotta have Champagne and oysters 🦪 + 🥂 and when you’re having champagne and oysters, you gotta go to Felix’s and don’t forget to say hello to “Ugly” shucking oysters behind the bar. This was admittedly my first time trying raw oysters …. It wasn’t graceful but you gotta be able to laugh at yourself!
